Hours & Season
- What are your hours of operation?
- Our hours of operation will be posted on your booking ticket when you schedule a visit to our farm.
- When is flower picking season?
- Although blooms are weather dependent, predicted season is end of June/early July
- Do I need a reservation or can I walk in?
- You will need to book your visit to our farm through our website.
What to expect
- What flowers will I see on your farm?
- Flowers being planted in 2026 are sunflowers, a variety of cut flowers, and greens.
- How does u-pick work?
- Visit our farm either via Central Railroad train ride or by driving to the farm. Enter the flower field and receive a custom Bil-Dol farm cup and shears from our staff. Feel free to walk through the fields and pick as many stems as you'd like to fill your cup. When you arrive we will educate our customers on the best way to cut our flowers.
- Do you provide tools and containers?
- Yes, shears and a custom farm cup to fill with our fresh cut blooms.
Pricing & Payment
- How are the flowers priced?
- Your ticket to the farm will include a custom Bil-Dol cup that you may fill with our stems.
- Additional stems will be $1 each, or you may purchase another custom cup.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash & card.
Rules & Guidelines
- Is the farm wheelchair/stroller accessible?
- The farm is stone and grass. You can bring a wheelchair and/or a stroller just keep in mind it will not be a smooth ride.
- Can I bring children or pets?
- Children are welcome and encouraged! Unfortunately we will ask you to keep your pet at home when you visit us.
- What should I wear?
- Dress weather appropriate and be mindful of your footwear choice. The fields may be dry and dusty or a little muddy at times.
- Be prepared for the weather.
- We recommend wearing and bringing SPF to keep yourself protected from sunburn.
- If there is rain in the forecast you may want to bring an umbrella or poncho. Bil-Dol Farm will not provide these items.
- Keep in mind guests will be outside during the entire experience at our farm. Bees and insects like flowers, it is likely you will encounter both during your visit.
- Can I take photos?
- Yes, take photos and share them on your social media! Don't forget to tag us!
Practical Info
- Where are you located and is there parking?
- We are located at 82 Dolbow Rd Salem NJ 08079. Mannington Township.
- What happens if it rains?
- We operate rain or shine! If there is severe weather there will be a re-booking option on our booking page.
- How long do cut flowers last?
- Refresh your vase water every few days and the flowers should last 1-2 weeks.
- Do you offer pre-picked bouquets for those who don't want to pick?
- Yes, we will have a limited number of pre-cut bouquets in our shed for sale.
- Accommodations on farm
- Port-a-pots with hand washing stations will be available on the farm for our customers.
Other services
- Do you host events or offer workshops?
- At this time Bil-Dol Farm does not offer events or workshops.
- We are open to suggestions and ideas for events in the future!
- Do you offer flower subscriptions or CSA programs?
- At this time Bil-Dol Farm does not offer a CSA program.
